777JILI Responsible Play Rules: 21+ and Where Help Is
Who may play
Play of any kind is for people aged 21 or older. This site is for readers of that age only, and the same rule is repeated in the terms of use. If you are younger, close the page.
Set the limit before the first payment
Decide a budget before you pay anything, and treat it as money already spent. A loss limit is a cap you set on what you can lose in a period, and it only helps if you set it before play starts. The steps in what to do before you register put the limit ahead of the first payment.
Some signs that play is slipping:
- You stake more than the budget you set.
- You play to win back what you lost.
- You hide the time or the money from people close to you.
- You miss a bill or a meal to keep playing.
Keep play inside a window
Pick the hours you will play before you start, and end the session when the window closes, whatever the result. Do not play when you are tired, upset or have been drinking. Take a day off after any session that went past your budget.
PAGCOR exclusion: the periods
PAGCOR’s exclusion page describes two programmes. Self Exclusion/Banning is for people who feel they are developing a problem with gambling. It says applicants “may request an exclusion period of 6 months, 1 year, and 5 years,” and that after the period ends the self exclusion order is lifted automatically.
It also states that “a self exclusion/banning period for the first six (6) months is irrevocable.” Read that line before you apply, because you cannot lift the first six months.
Family Exclusion/Banning is for a spouse, child or parent who needs help, with periods of 6 months, 1 year and 3 years.
What the self exclusion application needs
PAGCOR lists these requirements for self exclusion:
| Requirement | As the page gives it |
|---|---|
| Form | The Self Exclusion application form |
| Identity | A photocopy of a government-issued photo ID |
| Photos | Two 2x2 colored photos, taken within the last 6 months, full-face |
| Remote filing | A selfie or video call, if the submission is not made in person |
Applications go by e-mail to ResponsibleGaming@pagcor.ph or by drop box at the MET Live Building in Pasay City. The page says the exclusion is implemented across all sites licensed and operated by PAGCOR. Full contact details are on the PAGCOR office page.
Where help is
PAGCOR’s exclusion page prints, for more information and assistance, the number (02) 8248-9568 and the e-mail ResponsibleGaming@pagcor.ph. The same page lists accredited help centres for support from a counsellor.
